Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and assisted to transfer to Giraffe Manor. Surrounded by 12 acres of private land, within 140 acres of indigenous forest, the iconic Giraffe Manor is famous for its resident herd of Rothschild giraffe that casually wander around the spectacular grounds. Stay in the original manor house offering six rooms: Betty, Daisy, Jock, Lynn, Marlon and the Karen Blixen Suite or the Garden Manor also offering six rooms: Salma, Edd, Arlene, Helen, Kelly and the Finch Hatton Suite. Each room enjoys views over the sanctuary and the giraffe experience offered to guests is the same regardless of which area of the house they are staying in. At Giraffe Manor, breakfasts are a fun-filled affair. An optional visit to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi National Park is recommended. This is the most successful rescue programme for elephants in the world, with many of the babies being released back into the wild in Tsavo after around three years of rehabilitation.

After breakfast, fly by light aircraft to the Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy. You will check in at the luxurious Sarara Camp. Sarara is a luxurious, romantic tented camp set on the edge of the magnificent Samburu wilderness. Each intimate tent is positioned to maximise the stunning views of the Mathews Range and the waterhole that attracts a good variety of game throughout the day. The tents are spacious and high-ceilinged with private terraces with table and chairs and morning coffee and tea are brought to you, so that you can leisurely arise gazing out over the mountains. The roughly hewn rock pool, with its view over the distant mountains, offers the ideal place from which to view the surrounding wilderness in private.
